Week 22 | 650 to 690 khz

For this week’s MW Frequency Challenge we return to a frequency range and this is a good one.

Our focus will be on 650 through 680 kHz. This range includes some larger clear channel domestic U.S. stations, some large target Latin American stations and even some Transoceanic options for those able to recieve those!

The challenge begins at 0200 UTC on Saturday, March 8, 2026 and runs through 0200 UTC on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Only receptions made during this timeframe will count towards the challenge.

Only stations transmitting between 650 and 690 kHz will count for this challenge. Any stations received in this range are acceptable including licensed stations, pirates, TIS/HAR stations all count but no images/spurs/harmonics, etc.

Portable operations are encouraged, within 25 miles of your home location.

Receptions must be reported through the entry form at dxchallenges.com. Users must be registered to submit logs (registration is free and is just in place so you don’t have to enter your name and location with each log).

You are trying to enter a logging, but need to first login or register as a DXer.  Please click on "Login / Register" at the top of the page to proceed.  If you are seeing this message after logging in, a 'refresh' of the page should allow you to submit entries (stupid cookies).

INTRODUCING OUR NEW DATA ANALYSIS DASHBOARD!

HOW TO USE THIS DASHBOARD:   The five filters at the top will filter all tables and maps on this dashboard.  To clear a filter, just delete your text and hit enter, this will refresh all data to remove all filtering.  All tables and maps are exportable to a PDF, Google Sheets spreadsheet, or CSV, as needed.  For some filters such as DXer name, station and country, partial matches will still yield results.  Frequency and State/Prov (two-letter abbreviation) must be exact.
